It's a belter. Summer running of the route will definitely be on the cards, probably take about 5 hours if anyone's interested.

Yes, I would like to do this. I would absolutely not attempt the race without a recce or two and even then probably wouldn't do the actual race due to time of year. Too many stories of hypothermia and the like.

Well, there's your job Mr Fell trainer - over the winter get some training in, get some reccies in and target people to train up. Good point from Meg though about time of year. Great local hard race - I just happen to hate it !

Ran this with Sal Chafey, Rachael and John Maddock a few years ago on a sunny September day.....best route i've done but only because ground conditions were good. Expect very different challenge on race day in winter.
